Marcia Tantum offers 25 years of experience coupled with a fresh outlook on interior design, which she has penned as DESIGN ICING. Whether creating a new look using existing pieces or making major changes, her focus lies in making, “your home exceptional!”
As the DESIGN ICING guide and editor, design recommendations are explored and design problems are solved bringing luxurious beauty, harmony, balance and comfort to your busy lifestyle with a sophisticated European flair and “turn-key” installation.
Services Offered
Marcia creates a personalized DESIGN ICING Master Plan for each client that incorporates existing pieces and suggests possible additions such as upholstery, art and framing, floor coverings, window treatments, accessories, paint and/or wall coverings, cabinetry, appliances and other furnishings.
Our design experience working with plans, sketches, architects, remodelers, contractors and artisans, enables the formulation of the DESIGN ICING Plan with our research, specification, consultation, integration, installation, budget management, and architectural plan review as needed to complete the possibilities.
Though based in Atlanta, she has experience in numerous other areas and tailors each project to both the environment and personal needs and desires of each client.
DESIGN ICING consultation, research and development, specification, estimates and/or project management are dependent upon the scope of the project and the services desired and problems to solve.

Marcia Tantum holds a B.S. from Bowling Green State University and has done graduate work at the University of Colorado and Lesley College and has travelled extensively in Europe.
