Designer Profile

Award-winning Pineapple House Interior Design serves residential and hospitality clients throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. The firm’s designers have degrees in either interior design or architecture, and they practice a number of design styles, including contemporary, traditional, eclectic, rustic, Asian, modern urban and transitional. Pineapple House projects have been featured on CNN, CBS, NBC, the Discovery Channel, HGTV, the Travel Channel, TBS and MTV.

Services Offered

Pineapple House is a full-service firm and handles decor as well as any aspect of the construction process. They can orchestrate the interior design package for an existing home, office or facility, manage any degree of renovation or integrate with the client's architect or builder for new construction projects. Quality and reasonable timeframes are hallmarks of the company, which operates a design production facility in midtown Atlanta. The 35,000 square foot Pineapple House Design Center is home to product libraries, design offices, a drapery workroom, an upholstery department, an artist studio and a woodworking shop. In-house management over these critical components of the design process insures reasonable production times, high-quality custom goods and provides budget controls.

Awards & Publications

Pineapple House has been honored with twenty-five American Society of Interior Designers “Design Excellence Awards” by the Georgia Chapter of ASID. In 2008, 2007 and 2006, the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) distinguished Pineapple House’s projects as Georgia's “Best of the Best, Residential.” Pineapple House projects have appeared in seven coffee table books, over a hundred magazines and a college textbook. Their work has been published in three different languages. In 2008 the firm was recognized as the 6th "BEST PLACE TO WORK" by ATLANTA magazine.

Fee Structure

There is a $4,000 design fee and a $50,000 minimum purchase amount that applies to furniture, lighting, window treatments, upholstered goods, accessories, case goods, etc. Construction projects carry an additional retainer of $5,000 for hourly work IF it is requested by the client.
