Award-winning Pineapple House Interior Design serves residential clients throughout the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Owner Stephen W Pararo, ASID, has degrees in both Interior Design (Florida State University) and Architecture (Georgia Institute of Technology,) and his multi-dimensional perspective, plus decades of experience, makes Pineapple House experts in the complexities of the design/build process. The firm’s designers practice a number of design styles, including contemporary, traditional, eclectic, rustic, Asian, modern urban and transitional. Pineapple House Interior Design is an interior design, furnishings, architectural specification and construction management firm that offers services to clients that are decorating an existing home, as well as to individuals building a home from the ground up. Awards & Publications

Pineapple House has been honored with thirty-nine American Society of Interior Designers “Design Excellence Awards” by the Georgia Chapter of ASID. They received “2015 Best of Houzz – DESIGN” and “2015 Best of Houzz – CUSTOMER SERVICE” honors among over 500,000 eligible industry professionals on the popular online site. In 2014 owner Stephen Pararo was recognized as the State of Georgia’s “Small Business Owner of the Year,” 1st runner up, for his admirable business practices. The firm has been recognized twice as one of metro Atlanta’s “BEST PLACES TO WORK” by ATLANTA magazine, and for three consecutive years, Pineapple House won the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) “Best of the Best, Residential” honors for Georgia. Pineapple House projects have appeared in a dozen coffee table books, over a hundred magazines and 30 of the firm’s projects fill the pages of a college textbook. In 2015 owner Stephen Pararo was asked to serve as a professional judge for HGTV’s upcoming “Fresh Faces of Design” 2015 competition. He joins a small panel of pros that includes esteemed HGTV design executives and celebrities.

Fee Structure

There is a $4,000 design fee and a $50,000 minimum purchase amount that applies to furniture, lighting, window treatments, upholstered goods, accessories, case goods, etc. Construction projects carry an additional retainer of $5,000 for hourly work IF it is requested by the client. Any portion of the construction retainer that is not used is applied to the minimum purchase amount. Pineapple House’s fee schedule is thoroughly detailed on under How We Work.
