2017 ASID GA Board Slate

President Elect: Chris Socci

Chris Socci is the owner of C. Socci Inc., a full service interior design firm specializing in residential and commercial projects. He also collaborates with Bo Unlimited as a designer. He served on the  ASID GA board as Director of Membership in 2013 and has been an active ASID member for over 10 years. Chris studied graphic design, then attended Gwinnett Technical College where he received a degree in Interior Design in 2005.

Membership Director: Cathy Cheek, Allied ASID
A native of South Carolina, Cathy attended Anderson University where she received a B.A. in Art, with a concentration in Interior Design. After graduation, she practiced Interior Design with multiple Firms in Greenville SC where she honed her skills and talents for designing beautiful spaces. In 2012 Cathy and her husband relocated to Atlanta and she began working in the Stone Fabrication Industry. She is currently a Manufacture Representative for Vicostone Quartz and continues to use her design skills by assisting her clients with the perfect selections for their projects.

Director-at-Large (Programs): Ruthie Minick
Ruthie Minick is a graduate of Georgia Southern University where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Interior Design. As a student, she was the President of the ASID Student Chapter and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Her career started with Sherwin Williams in Orlando, Florida as an Assistant Manager and then Manager. Today, she is the Atlanta Designer Account Executive for The Sherwin Williams Company. Her favorite things are flowers and her turtle, Theo.
